Whilst diving around La Palma you will encounter eagle rays, common sting rays, butterfly rays, barracudas as well as trigger fish, filefish, groupers, wrasse, blennies, starfish, moray eels, shoals of seabrems and saupes just to mention a few. Diving La Palma – Great visibility
The brilliant and superb water quality offers visibility up until 50 meters. The pleasant water temperatures make diving enjoyable all years round. The water temperatures reaches 24 C to 26 C in the summer and in the winter months around 20 C.

La Palma Diving Center - Reception
The La Palma Diving Center was founded in 1998. Since November 2009 the La Palma Diving Center has been managed by Fina and Joe. For many years we have been intrigued by the underwater world, always on the search for new adventures.
Beach dives, Boat dives, Night dives, Scooter dives … everything is possible with a team you can rely on !
Not only do we have the fantastic dive locations in Los Cancajos to offer. All around La Palma are new dive locations waiting to be discovered.
The dive center
- Our dive center consists of an office, shop, internet cafe (free for divers), classroom, equipment area, service area / compressor station as well as bathroom area including shower.
- A warm shower after the dive – which you will only find in the La Palma Diving Center.
- Clean and rinse/desinfect your equipment in our large tiled basins. Read about the importance of clean and hyginec equipment equipment.
- Dry and store your equipment ready for your next dive safely out of sunlight in our wet room. Read about the negative impact of direct sunlight on your expensive Diving equipment.
- La Palma Diving Center has a non-smoking policy within the center. The smoke stays outside the door and not inside your gear.
- All guests of the La Palma Diving Centers can take advantage of our free WIFI.

The La Palma Diving Center is the oldest running dive center in La Palma ! Since 1998 the center has been located in Los Cancajos, only 50 meter from the black sandy beachs of Los Cancajos. Sie möchten Tauchen lernen !? Dann liegen Sie bei uns genau richtig! Ausbildung vom Anfänger bis zum Profi. Ob PADI/CMAS bei uns ist alles möglich. Bei Tauchkursen achten wir stets auf einen persönlichen und direkten Kontakt zu unseren Schülern. Ganz nach dem Motto „Tauchen für Freunde – mit Freunden“ soll sich jeder Tauchkamerad bei uns rundherum wohlfühlen.
Die geschulte Pädagogin und Tauchlehrerin Fina führt allein die Tauchausbildung für Kinder durch. Sicherheit, Verantwortung und pädagogisches KnowHow ist gerade bei der Kinderausbildung äusserst wichtig. Unser Team steht für Sie bereit. Wir haben keine Mindestteilnehmeranzahl für Ausbildung ! Die Tauchausbildung kann in folgenden Sprachen erfolgen : Deutsch, Englisch, Spanish, Französisch, Italienisch (Muttersprachler !)

Eigenverantwortung und pädagogisches Fachwissen – Kindererziehung und Pädagogik
Sie möchten für Ihre Kinder das Beste ? Wir auch ! Daher haben wir eine geschulte Pädagogin und Tauchlehrerin nur für Kinder. Fina führt allein die Kindertauchausbildung durch. Sicherheit, Verantwortung und pädagogisches KnowHow ist gerade bei der Kinderausbildung äusserst wichtig. Fina kann auf 10jährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Pädagogik, Kindererziehung und Kindersport zurückgreifen. Fina ist Sportlerin, selbstverständlich Nichtraucherin und bezieht Stellung :
“Die Vorbildfunktion eines tauchlehrenden Pädagogen hört nicht am Beckenrand auf. Ein Kindertauchlehrer mit Zigarette in der Hand ist ein Armutszeugnis und Zeichen mangelnder Professionalität. Eltern geben ihre Kinder in die Hände von Profis und vertrauen nicht nur das Leben und die Gesundheit ihrer Jüngsten dem Erzieher an, sondern erwarten eine professionelle Ausbildung nebst Sensibilisierung und Weitergabe von Werten. Kinder sehen Lehrer als Vorbild ! Passt dazu eine Zigarette ? Auf gar keinen Fall ! Dass Rauchen nicht zu einem gesunden Lebensstil passt, darüber müssen wir uns nicht unterhalten, aber es liegt an Ihnen und uns, die Weichen für das Gesundheitsbewusstsein Ihrer Kinder zu stellen.
